Up to now I thought there were just three things you need to push toward a breakthrough:
- A burning DESIRE to do so, igniting greater self-motivation
- An IDEA about doing so that excites you, and gives you an ending vision pulling you toward it
- The SELF-DISCIPLINE and focus to make it happen by taking each action necessary
At first it seems Lisa Haneberg, (her new business card says she is a ‘Breakthrough Catalyst’ and if you know Lisa, you know it to be true) agrees that thought must connect to action, for in her new book, Two Weeks to a Breakthrough, How to Zoom Toward your Goal in 14 Days or Less, she starts by saying,
A fine line separates a great life from one that is unsatisfying or filled with regret. Two variables determine which situation applies to you. The first is your mind-set. Are your thoughts and conversations in alignment with success and fulfillment? The second is your actions. Greatness is about showing up; successful people do what others put off or ignore.
However in reading her book, and in watching carefully the journey she has taken to write it with authority and credibility, living her own coaching, I now know that there is one more very crucial element: We are human beings, and thus our breakthroughs are a social act. The key word within Lisa’s quote above is CONVERSATION.

Year of the Breakthrough Tour
This is a map of a motorcycle tour that Lisa is wrapping up this week, a possibility manifested within her goal of helping as many people as she can personally reach, with catalyzing their own breakthroughs. It is an amazing social act! Incredibly inspiring.
Thus this is my new breakthrough ingredient list, in the Language of Intention that I have found helps power my ho‘ohana:
